Compensation and Benefits Manager – AME
Manages policies and procedures related to the design and delivery of cash compensation programs and processes. Continuously assesses elements of global market practices, trends, and regulatory environments related to cash compensation design and delivery.
Partners with line human resources to support the alignment of country and entity-specific compensation programs.
Develops and improves tools and processes to deliver and administer cash compensation framework such as job evaluation, market analyses, compensation structures, variable compensation plans, annual pay for performance process, and assessment and improvement of regulatory compliance.
Partners across the human resources function with corporate, line and shared services organizations to assess and improve the effective delivery of compensation.
Develops key performance metrics for designated compensation processes; measures and analyzes the effectiveness of compensation programs and process delivery.
Supports the management of internal and external vendors including contract management and analysis of performance metrics.
Ensures that policies, review, approval, and reporting practices comply with corporate governance practices and applicable legislation; ensures the accuracy and completeness of compensation policy and process documentation.
Conducts research to understand external market compensation trends and practices; incorporates relevant findings into initiatives and internal practices as appropriate.
Coaches and mentors individual compensation analysts; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Facilitation - Guides group discussions or training by creating an active environment where questions are posed, perspectives are shared, and debates occur with the goal of gaining understanding, analyzing issues, resolving conflict, exploring solutions, or making decisions.
Change Management - Applies the Cummins structured process and tool set for engaging individuals and organizations through change to achieve and sustain business results and outcomes.
Labor Relations - Practices employee relations at sites where employees are represented by third parties; applies knowledge of labor law; negotiates, interprets and implements the language of collectively bargained agreements.
Compensation and Benefits Administration - Translates Cummins plan design, statutory and tax requirements in the communication and delivery of compensation and benefit programs.
Mobility Administration - Translates applicable policies, taxation, immigration laws, local legislation and internal controls procedures in the delivery of programs focused on the seamless movement of talent.
Compensation Design - Designs and develops programs, policies, processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizational goals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations for Cummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design of organizational programs.
Benefits Design - Designs and develops programs, policies, processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizational goals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations for Cummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design of organizational programs.
Data Analytics - Interprets information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks, and leverages analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Significant relevant work experience required.
Job holder can be based at any Cummins location in the region
Plans, develops, and improves employee Benefit and Health & Wellbeing programs to support and align with the business strategy and objectives.
Manages designated Benefit plans or plan components ensuring alignment with market trends and compliance with plan design, company policies, governance and internal controls. Ensures compliance with all legislative and reporting requirements.
Leads implementation and provides advice and guidance on designated employee benefit plans and processes to regional business leaders and human resources.
Partnersin the creation and delivery of training and information sessions for humanresources and employees; partners in the development of communication materialsfor benefits enrollment and changes.
Supports development and implementation of regional Health and Wellbeing initiatives to improve the health, safety and productivity of employees; partners with key stakeholders for delivery.
Participatesin collective bargaining preparation processes across the region as subject matter expert on compensation & benefits items.
Supports development of Sales Compensation policies for the region
